Dear Applicant,
We are looking for a short term, weekend nanny/ mothers help to help our family of 6 during the holiday season. Our family is a large fun loving, very active family with 4 children aged between 6 and 12 years of age, plus family dog.
We are based in the NW6 South Hampstead area.
It's a temporary position for 3 weeks, starting from 22nd December 2021 until 7th January 2022.
This includes:
Sunday 24th -Christmas Eve
Monday 25th - Christmas Day- mandatory
Tuesday 26th - Boxing Day- mandatory
Sunday 31st - New Years eve - ideally available for baby sitting
The general hours are - Friday- Sunday 9-8pm including babysitting when required and taxi home is provided after 10pm.
The hourly rate is £12 per hour and we offer double rate for Christmas and New Year plus taxi rate to pick up and drop off for these two days, depending on the location.
The job:
Location - NW6
Nanny/ Mothershelp including interaction with the kids and looking after them during the weekends. Helping during meal times and tiding up after that.
Light housekeeping. Supervising play time, plays dates and other activities.
Being able to get creative ideas and able to suggest fun and interactive things for the kids to do. Encouraging tidying up after each play time.
Helping with bath and bed time.
Dog care : assist in caring for the family pet puppy.
The applicant:
Ideally, you should be energetic, love the outdoors, happy to get involved in all aspects family life, competent to handle 4 children and join in all the fun and frolics of a large family
Strictly a Non- smoker.
Very good - Excellent command of English.
No travel restrictions or special Visas required for EU trips
Ideally CRB or DBS checked
Essential - at least 3 good UK checkable references from previous families doing a similar job.
Looking for a short term stable commitment to our family.
Independent and able to navigate around north/north-west London with ease.
experience of using apps such as Uber, get taxi, whatsapp, google maps etc.
Additional:
Any additional qualifications very welcome, i.e. First aid certified, childcare qualifications, a European second language, UK drivers licence.
