London’s largest independent cinema is looking for a Door Supervisor for its weekend operations. Genesis is a family run business offering a variety of products, services and experiences to the local East End community and is seeking a friendly and outing individual to join the team.
The role comprises of a mixture of responsibilities including (not exclusively):

Welcoming and ushering patrons through the building.
Checking ticket validity
Crowd management
Overseeing venue access
Customer and venue security
Bag inspections
Conflict resolution

Applicants must have excellent customer service skills, experience of conflict resolution and a friendly and welcoming demeanour.  Cinema/theatre/event experience and SIA certificate holder is advantageous but not essential.
Working hours are from midday until midnight every Saturday and Sunday paid at £9 p/h.
The role is a temporary role but could lead to a permanent contract.
