Genesis Cinema – Whitechapel
London’s largest independent cinema is looking for a Door Supervisor for its weekend operations. Genesis is a family run business offering a variety of products, services and experiences to the local East End community and is seeking a friendly and outing individual to join the team.
The role comprises of a mixture of responsibilities including (not exclusively):
• Welcoming and ushering patrons through the building
• Checking ticket validity
• Crowd management
• Overseeing venue access
• Customer and venue security
• Conflict resolution
Applicants must have excellent customer service skills, experience of conflict resolution and a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Cinema/theatre/event experience and SIA certificate holder is advantageous but not essential.
Working hours are from midday until midnight every Saturday and Sunday paid at £8.50 p/h.
