Historic Restaurant and Music Venue is looking for weekend breakfast chefs!
We are looking for a hardworking, fit, dedicated, punctual and reliable person to work in our wonderful and historic cafe. You must be polite, well presented, willing to teach and be taught, extremely organised and have a can-do attitude. Previous kitchen and chef experience is a must. Knowledge of food handling and food hygiene certificate is essential. This position suits someone who is looking for a permanent position and hoping to be a part of a growing business.
All our foods are made from fresh raw ingredients.
Your main daily duties will be:
-Preparing all food
-stock check and buying list
-Being able to work in a team but also as an individual
-Following food FIFO system
-Produce fast, fresh and wonderful breakfast and brunches
-Enjoy creating your own food as well as working from recipes
-Being able to work with raw ingredients
-Work with seasonings, spices and exotic foods
-Be passionate about food
-Be able to produce all food to a high standard
-Work with the owner to build a fabulous range of healthy, tasty and robust foods
-incorporate vegan, vegetarian, wheat, sugar and dairy free options to the menu as needed for customers
-Light clean up duties i.e. Keeping your work area clean
You will work 10-20 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday morning and afternoon, are our most important shifts. Extra hours outside of your normal days/ hours may be required to cover holidays. If you want to work extra hours we can give you other shifts during the week.
Your wage dependent on experience from £8.00 - 9.50 ph
Paid monthly (plus a share of service charge).
