Nevado Limited is seeking to recruit a website developer to work on its Belmond project at its office in South-West London. This is a contract role for a minimum of 3-4 months.
Belmond owns a diverse collection of travel experiences including some of the finest hotels in the world like Belmond Hotel Cipriani in Venice and Belmond Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro, and the timeless Venice Simplon-Orient-Express train.
Nevado have helped Belmond for over 10 years to create online experiences befitting its exceptional travel products by assisting its in-house digital and design teams' delivery, with the key aspect of this role focusing around delivery of an upgraded platform.
*The role:*
• This role will involve developing and managing transactional websites.
• You will have direct contact with clients and will need to offer excellent service and sensible, intelligent advice to them
• You will work in a small team of highly experienced ecommerce consultants, with plenty of opportunity for learning and growth.
• You will always be on the lookout for ways to improve the websites you work with, both in terms of functionality and business development.
*Technical Requirements:*
• Strong front end development skills and experience with HTML, Java Script, Java Script libraries (eg. Jquery) and CSS
• experience with GIT version control
• experience with a SDL Tridion / SDL Web 8 would be advantageous
• experience with NGINX, MongoDB, Docker would be advantageous
• Aware of latest technology trends and comfortable with responsive design
• experience in other programming languages will be beneficial but not essential

• Ability to multi-task; with a talent for handling several different priorities concurrently
• Capable of both coding to spec and actively analysing a situation and identifying and recommending the optimum solution to a complex problem
• A positive attitude with enthusiasm and capacity for hard work
• Tenacity and determination to persist, even when the task is, at times, repetitive
• Extraordinary attention to detail and sense of personal ownership for every piece of work
• Ideally have an academic background with a thirst for learning and staying up to date
• Legally eligible to work in the United Kingdom indefinitely
