We are a Scandinavian web-shop and food wholesaler based in Park Royal, North West London (NW10 7 QQ)
We’re looking for that special someone to run our day-to-day packing for our web-shop and warehouse.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Running the packing floor – in charge of organising the packing of web orders to a high standard for safe delivery - and meeting daily deadline for these.
Implement and drive minimum errors and personalised service for all orders.
- Keep the Mezzanine packing floor in a great organised shape and ensure maximum organisation of work area.
- Work closely with Office Manager to ensure great service all round to our customers.
- During busy times, help supervise a team of 2 temp shift packers (November and December, mainly)
What you look like:
- Organised and great attention to detail.
- A huge amount of common sense and great logic skills.
- Customer service minded – always think of the end consumer.
- Can-do attitude – you just go for it and deliver the doughnuts. You think on your feet.
- Some experience of working in a packing/warehouse environment.
- Flexible attitude and hard working.
- Technical aptitude – be able to try and sort any minor issues with printers, computers etc.
- Good English, with legal right to live and work in the UK.
Things we would also like (but not essential):
- Driving licence/ Fork lift licence.
- A Scandinavian language would be great (Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian)
This job is minimum 6 months because of the training involved (but we would like it to be permanent). The work initially is full time Mon-Fri but in Nov and until 23rd December, the hours increase and you will work different shifts as we get super busy.
Hourly pay £8 - £10 an hour depending on experience. Bonus on a job done well.
