Web Developer/ Java Script Developer/ PHP/ HTML 5, CSS / Developer/ Programmer/ Computer Scientist Web Developer with solid knowledge of HTML 5, CSS 3, PHP, Java Script is needed by our client a vibrant expanding media company and brand consultancy firm, specialised in creating websites and apps for innovative clients, from ambitious startups to established corporations. With a great location just a 5 min walk away from Canons Park station (NW London) they offer a great working environment in a small, tight-knit team where you'll have a key role in the design/development of their products. They are expanding their in-house development capacity so are looking for a skilled web developer/programmer to join the team. The role would especially suit someone with a few years experience who is now looking for a new challenge as part of an ambitious and fast-growing team. Essential Skills: * Solid knowledge of HTML 5, CSS 3, PHP, Java Script/Ajax/Jquery, MySQL, and able to build static, responsive, dynamic, CMS based and e-commerce websites. * Able to use ready solutions as well as frameworks (i.e Word Press (important), Magneto, Shopify, Bootstrap, Codeigniter, Laravel etc) * Good knowledge of configuring web apps/websites in a production environment * Able to integrate different known APIs * Able to accurately translate designs into code (Pixel perfect). * Excellent attention to design and layout details (Extremely important) * Knowledge of UI/UX best practices. * Willingness to work independently and take the lead on projects * Good standard of written and spoken English * Good eye for typography and layout * Excellent problem-solver with an ability to learn quickly * Entrepreneurial working style, comfortable with constantly changing priorities * Has excellent time-management and organisational skills. * Has an eye for detail, likes to do things right first time, and gets a real kick from solving a problem.Any of these would be a bonus: * Preparing web development proposals for clients * iOS, Android, app development * Knowledge of NOD and Angular * Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop * Search Engine Optimization skills * Knowledge of social media based marketing solutions * Sketching and wire-framing * API development Please apply as soon as possible for immediate consideration.
