Valet Apartments is a specialist provider of premium accommodation, taking pride in offering exceptional homes in central city locations. We are a young, dynamic company accommodating hundreds of clients each month across our property portfolio. We are actively looking for an experienced Web Developer for a minimum of 3 months with a strong potential to join us full time after that.
You will be responsible for leading the development of an internal operations system, transitioning it from Google Sheets to a custom built website. This is a rewarding and demanding role, and it is vital that you are highly experienced in complex Web Development (min. 5 years) and can work under tight deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build out the existing tables of our Google Sheets database to a new custom website. This will include transitioning a large database of reservations and data points of residential properties, as well as some other smaller tables
Recreating approximately 12 reports currently made by Pivot Tables within the new website. These should be dynamic (within browser) and exportable (PDF, email, etc.)
Putting together a carefully crafted implementation plan for the above, broken down in stages with the required level of detail
Researching and building out an outsourced IT team in a low-cost location (preferably in Europe)
Contribute to other aspects of our IT strategy, such as enhancing our client facing website and other ancillary tasks
Requirements
Expert knowledge (5 years min.) of PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS
Must work from our offices in Central London during working hours (no tele-commuting)
Diligent work-ethic with a friendly, amenable, confident personality.
