About the Company
We are a Electronic spare parts company based in Acton West London - We sell Parts or mobile phones, Tablets and game consoles etc. We have recently setup our Magneto site and need a person to start using the platform and entering products, take pictures, making barcodes etc. We will be adding more staff as the workload increases over the next few months.
A few Essentials you need to have for this job.
1. Magento experience essential
2. You Have Sold on eBay and Amazon before and is aware of procedures etc.
3. You have worked in a business as the sole web admin which includes picking - packing - processing orders.
4. PhotoShop and photography skills even though we have a full photo box setup which makes life easier.
5. Be a prompt, driven person when it comes to your work ethic.
6. A person who like to get the job done and is able to work on their own without constant direction.
7. Has worked in e commerce business before is familiar with all aspects of it.
Role Summary
Upload products to Magento site
Take pictures of Products using specialist photo equipment - pretty easy stuff if you have experience.
Process orders both online and offline
Pick and pack daily orders and get ready for dispatch.
Arrange incoming products into stock and arrange shelves etc.
Label all products in workshop and keep shelves sorted.
What you'll be doing
Creating engaging product descriptions, produce high quality product listings with technically accurate and concise information across all ecommerce platforms (eBay, Amazon and our own websites) giving the best user experience. Ensuring published products are accurate, searchable and correctly categorised. This means you must do research on competitors in detail and raise with management to get it right.
Work closely with other departments within the Ecommerce team and 3rd parties.
Taking pictures using specialist pc software and equipment - to create high quality images of products.
Listing items on Magento and keeping control of stock coming in and going out.
Picking and packing of orders for website, eBay and Amazon - you will have help with this as the business grows.
Returns management
Answering customers emails queries.
Key Skills and experience required for the role: -
To have at least two years’ experience working within ecommerce using Magento preferably.
experience of Amazon Seller Central and eBay Shops.
Highly organised individual with problem-solving skills that is self-motivated with a creative mind and a drive to get stuff done.
Excellent written and spoken business English and presentation skills.
Good knowledge of Windows 10 and 7 for support on issues.
Advanced IT skills and a practical knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.) would be great but not essential.
A good understating of using PhotoShop and c camera equipment.
Good understanding of Google products such as Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics would be preferable.
