We are setting up a new youth project in the new Barking development of Riverside and we will provide youth club activities for young people under 19 years old currently living or moving into the new developments.
We also aim to expand and work across other areas along the Thames in the future.
We are called Riverside Youth or Riverside Youth Project.
We need help from volunteers interested in helping us set up and to build and develop a fantastic youth project for young people along the River Thames.
We are particularly interested in volunteers from a diverse range of backgrounds that would benefit our new youth project and make Riverside Youth Project a success.
We need:
• Management Committee Members (to oversee running/management and be responsible for our project).
• Managers (to run the day to day activities of Riverside Youth Project – Youth Clubs are evening and weekend based only).
• Youth Workers (to plan, organise and run sessions for young people).
• Backoffice Helpers (to help us run as a youth project we need graphic designers, admin help, social media volunteers, fundraisers, bid writers, strategy/policy writers, marketing help and other backoffice support to help us run smoothly).
