We are looking for experienced commis chefs / CDPs who can work on breakfast/grill, pizza and starters sections. We provide Sociable hours, no split shifts, friendly atmosphere, paid breaks, meals on duty from the menu etc.
Payment is depending on your experience and abilities. IF YOU KNOW HOW TO STRETCH A PIZZA IT IS A PLUS PAY. We also give yearly incentives and opportunities to become a sous chef/head chef if you have the qualities.
In return, we require a honest, hard working , innovative individuality. You also must understand the basic kitchen rules such as health and safety, food hygiene e.tc.
You will be working with 6 Chefs and 3 KPs. Therefore; you must be a good team player and communicator.
WHO WE ARE!
We are an independent restaurant/cafe based in Raynes park(west Wimbledon) with 60 seats serving Greek, Italian and traditional Mediterranean food with a small twist. Please apply if you can travel to work in 45mins or less and do not forget to include your intended start date/notice period to your current job
IN A NUTSHELL;
-Good Italian style pizza making knowledge
-You must be a good communicator and able to work under pressure
-You must be able to manage your section perfectly,
-Cook daily specials, salad, pasta and grill sections
-You must have at least 6 months of experience in a similar role
-You must be understanding the basic kitchen rules, H and S and Food Hygiene
