We are looking for an enthusiastic Chef to join our dedicated team, who produce delicious food using the finest and freshest ingredients 100% Made in Italy.
Your main duties will include :
- Cooking dishes to order in accordance with recipes,
development of specials/new dishes, adherence to company
Health and Safety protocols.
- Scope for development in other sections, and into positions of
responsibility for the right person.
- To ensure all food preparation is carried out in accordance with
food hygiene procedures.
- To ensure food is prepared to required standards checking for
taste, presentation and quality.
- To ensure food is served promptly and work is carried out
quickly and efficiently to keep up when busy.
- To ensure all food sent out is correctly garnished.
- To ensure portion control, preparation and storage methods
avoid wastage and keep down costs.
- To ensure the kitchen and service area are clean, tidy and
attractive during service.
Requirements
- Preferably experience in a similar environment
- A "Can do" attitude
- Good people skills
- Ability to work in a team
2 year experience in Italian managed restaurant in U.K. Or in Italy and HACCP certification 2° level.
