Our client is one of the UK's fastest growing dealer groups representing the Volvo and Hyundai brands across ten dealerships in and around London. They are seeking an experienced Warranty Administrator with previous main dealer experience to join their dealership in West London. In return our client is offering a competitive salary of GBP 25,000 as well as Pension and Life Assurance. Purpose of Warranty Administrator Role: * To efficiently process all warranty claims ensuring all necessary documentation and parts processing conform to DCUK/DCAG policy and procedure. * To minimise DCR exposure in relation to Warranty Audit.4Group Accountabilities * Observe Health and Safety regulations at all times * Not to take or fail to take any trading actions that could endanger the continuance of our franchise agreement * Conduct yourself in a business like and professional manner at all times whenever and wherever you represent the Company. * Maintain a positive attitude with customers and colleagues at all times and ensure integrity, honesty and courtesy at all times * Maintain business confidence outside of the business and comply with data protection standards and the Competition Act Duties and Responsibilities of the Warranty Administrator Role: * To ensure customer satisfaction through the provision of advice on Warranty and Goodwill" to other members of the company. * To ensure effective use of technical knowledge/skills and warranty procedures enabling effective economic and correct application of manufactures and company warranty and goodwill systems * To ensure requests for advice/consideration are made to manufacturer in special cases where normal procedures do not allow submission of any claim. * To ensure the correct administration of warranty/goodwill claims to manufacture guidelines. * To ensure that all parts replaced under warranty are retained for correct period of time, correctly labeled and made available to manufacturer on request * To document all warranty, goodwill and recall work as per manufactures requirements and dealership policy * To assist with monthly internal warranty audits- save and file all related documentation * Maintenance of customer information on dialog * Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring staff comply with Health and Safety requirements and environmental policies * Participate in, staff appraisal procedures and associated TNA programme to enable staff attendance at appropriate training course/s * Undertake other appropriate tasks and responsibilities as requested or required * Adhere to all company policies as detailed in The Wayside Employee Handbook * Examine all outstanding warranty debts on the weekly and daily reports and implement action to ensure their recovery * To carry out any further duties within capabilities when requested by management. * Ensure all clerical functions within the warranty department are carried in accordance with company policy * Administer warranty policy in the best interests of dealership, manufacturer and customer. * To keep records of warranty submissions, credits, rejections, and customers contributions towards goodwill claims. * Analysis of recall campaign completion against applicable vehicles. * To maintain effective liaison with other company employees, specialist repairers and manufactures representatives. * Analysis of recall campaign completion against applicable vehicles * To maintain effective liaison with other company employees, specialist repairers and manufactures representatives.
