(Permanent / Full time position - Immediate start)
Location: Bermondsey, London SE16

Time: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm
Salary: £22-£26k (depending on experience)

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced warehouse operative/ team leader who is keen to join our expanding team. As well as picking and packing, the right candidate will be a key player in the warehouse’s organisation and overall day to day running.
The right candidate will manage a team of 3 experienced warehouse operatives to ensure optimal productivity. Previous leadership experience is essential. Candidate will report to the directors.
We need a positive, problem-solving team leader, who can work well in a team or alone. Candidates will need to show initiative and have the capability to enforce new processes to increase warehouse efficiency, plus motivate the team to meet deadlines and work productively. We require someone with good communication skills, who can occasionally liaise with clients and provide A1 customer service.
The right candidate should:
• Be a reliable team leader who leads by example
• Have picking and packing and warehouse experience
• Have racking and forklift experience, as well as a forklift licence
• Hold a full clean driving licence for occasional road activities
• Be confident, vocal and practical with a “can do” attitude
• Be able to work autonomously and lead continuous improvement by example
• Be looking to develop and progress as the business continues to grow
• Speak English fluently
• Be physically fit and able to engage in manual handling
• Have reasonable IT skills and good literacy and numeracy skills
• Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines during busy periods
