A leading edge ice design / bag ice delivery company requires a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join our v cool, happy, hard working team, and to help us maintain our high level of efficient and reliable operations. We are the industry leaders for ice sculpture design and bag ice delivery, and are continuously raising the standard.
The right attitude - We can teach skill, however we cannot teach attitude, so as long as you have the right attitude you’ll be fine. You must be/have:
Fluent English
Ability in Maths
Punctual
Reliable
Natural organiser
Attention to detail
You must also be committed, willing to get the job done. , and be able to manage men.
Ideally you will hold a UK forklift license, and UK driving license. This is very hands on role, with seasonal staff to manage. Event experience an advantage.
Responsibilities:
• Day to Day running Warehouse / Accountable for costs / Waste stock
• Maintenance – Warehouse equipment
• Packing ice - Stock control / Ordering / Supplier liaison
• Quality Control
• Vehicle Management – Loading/Unloading vans
• Order processing (Client’s orders) – Ice Sculptures and Equipment
• Staff management
• Set up and monitor weekly/daily/monthly checklists
50 Hours a week is standard
Some weekend shifts required when busy
£21,000- £25,000 depending on experience
