Party Ingredients Event Catering Services are seeking a warehouse supervisor to join their Warehouse Team. We have a vacancy for an experienced porter with some supervisor experience to join us, working at a satellite site in Bow, processing used crockery, cutlery and glassware through a large scale industrial flight dishwasher and drying checking and packing for reuse at our main site in Canary Wharf - there is one member of staff to manage at this site.
The ideal candidate will:
Speak, understand and write well in English
Have supervisor experience
Have experience with industrial dishwashers
Give and follow up on instruction to team members
Be able to motivate and set a good working pace
Have a good work ethic
Have good personal standards of work
Be well presented and good humoured
Be punctual and hard working
Live relatively locally
The role reports to our Operations Manager who is based at our Canary Wharf HQ but will be at the Bow site daily to give support to the Supervisor and there is a wider network of logistics managers and drivers who come to the Bow site on a daily basis for drop offs and collections.
07.30 to 16.30 Monday to Friday with occasional opportunities for overtime
£10.50 per hour, paid weekly, 40 hours minimum per week
Contract with an immediate start, and opportunities for further development. 3 month probation period after which we offer a work based pension scheme, a cycle to work scheme, incentivised gym membership and an employee bonus scheme which offer up to 3 additional weeks pay each year, based on reaching our profit targets.
