The Absolute Taste team is recruiting for a warehouse assistant for the busy summer period. As an events catering business you will handling our equipment, stock and glassware- from moving organising them in our warehouse to transporting them to our many events happening across the city.
Rate of pay £9.50 ph paid on a weekly basis
Job Duties:
- Organizing stocks and maintaining inventory
- Organize warehouse space
- Keep warehouse clean and organised daily
- Transportation of equipment to various sites across the city
- Moving the goods to the correct area in the warehouse, either manually or using mechanical handling equipment
- Relocating and re-stacking goods to make space for a new delivery
Requirements
- Driving Licence
- Ideally but not essential the ability to operate a forklift
- experience is not essential however please be aware that the role will require the ability lift or move heavy products
- Flexible schedule. However you will be expected to work Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Please be aware that due to the nature of the industry and the handling of our alcoholic stock- you will be required to be at least 18 years of age.
