THE JOB :
We are currently looking for full-time, experienced warehouse operatives to become part of our wholesale team based in Borough Market.
The vacancy details are as follows -
Day Shifts (5 days/week) --- 9 hour shifts (incl. A 1 hour break), between 9 am to 6 pm* --- £8.00 to £9.00 per hour (based on experience)
Night Shifts (5 days/week) --- 9 hour shifts (incl. A 1 hour break), between 3 am to 11 am* --- £8.50 to £9.70 per hour (based on experience)
*Shift times will be discussed during interview

Responsibilities will include -
- •You will be responsible for all deliveries and stock coming into the warehouse
- Receiving stock, checking off against invoices/delivery notes, ensuring all the paperwork is forwarded to the office
- Quality checking all produce coming into the warehouse and raising requests for credits/returns of substandard and missing produce
- Conducting daily stock takes
- Stock rotation
- Overseeing the cleaning rotas and ensuring the warehouse is always tidy and organised
- Assisting in picking and packing of orders
- Other general warehouse duties
- Driving the forklift (if required)
SKILLS and experience REQUIRED:
The right person for the job will be -
•- Fluent in English, well-spoken and confident
•- Flexible, well organised and motivated.
- Fit enough to perform required manual handling tasks
- experience of working in a similar role handling fruit and veg or other fresh produce is preferable but not essential.
