22.00 – 08.30 – 5 Out of 7 days per week (including weekends)
Solstice is a fresh fruit and vegetable distributor which prides itself on high quality fresh produce and attentive service. Based in South Wimbledon, Solstice deliver to most of London’s top hotels, restaurants, private members clubs and catering companies with fresh, prepared, frozen and dried produce twice a day, 7 days a week.
An exciting job opportunity has arisen to work within our company. We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join our team. We are looking for a candidate that has previous Supervisory experience preferably within the Food Industry with a good knowledge of Fresh Produce.
The job will be based on a shift work, working 5 out of 7 days per week (including weekends) between the hours of 2200 to 0830. The Role will include, but not exclusive to the following;

To ensure all orders are picked within strict deadlines.
Management of 40 staff members
To ensure all orders a picked and packed accurately.
Ensure picking area stock levels are correctly rotated and maintained.
Check with sales office for picking sheets and production details.
Conduct regular checks on pickers to ensure correct stocks and quantity and quality are picked.
Assembled pallets should be taken to loading bays and placed in appropriate delivery route Lanes.
Once order picking is complete stock must be sorted into product group and levelled off and fridges tidied up.
Conduct regular meetings with the Sales team and Transport Department to ensure smooth and efficient operation.

A successful candidate will have:

Previous warehouse background from a Food Industry environment.
The ability to organize and delegate efficiently.
A FLT license would be desirable
