Delicatezza is an online Italian delicatessen that sells to both retail and trade customers all across the UK.
Job Description
We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to run the day-to-day warehouse. This role is crucial to the business running smoothly. The regular working hours are approximately 40 hours Mon-Fri.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders for delivery
- Manage product stock (stock takes, managing replacements for orders etc.)
- Manage goods in process with suppliers
- Keep warehouse tidy and clean
- Occasional support with deliveries during busy periods
The candidate MUST have all of the following:
- experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in food and drink
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Exceptional ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Confidence and the ability to deal with suppliers and customers politely but effectively
- The legal right to work in the UK
- Full and clean drivers license
The ideal candidate SHOULD HAVE some of the following:
- Knowledge of Italian
- A passion for or interest in Italian food.
