We have doubled in size in the last 6 months. Therefore, our warehouse is now extremely busy, especially in the summer months. This is why we are now recruiting for someone to take control of our warehouse, as our drivers are no longer able to look after the warehouse and deliver to all our sites.
We are looking for a mature acting, self-motivated, talented and hardworking individual to take daily control of our warehouse.
Warehouse Controller
£21,500 per annum
28 days annual leave
Based in Mitcham Industrial estate, Streatham Road, Mitcham CR4 2AP
Job Responsibilities:
Your main duties are to organise and oversee the safe, efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products to satisfy business operations and demands.
Key responsibilities:
• Plan and co-ordinate the incoming goods deliveries, storage and preparation for
dispatch of items in a timely and efficient manner to achieve team objectives as
determined by management;
• To ensure effective, safe, accurate and timely stock management to include space
allocation and stock transfer;
• Working closely with the drivers and park managers to ensure adequate stock levels are
in place at the correct time of the year and for major events.
• Ensuring accurate and periodic stock takes are carried out and reported to Finance;
• Timely and accurate transfer and recording of all internal stock movement
• Ensure the accuracy and strict control of all relevant documentation and administration
relevant to the warehouse;
• Implement and promote the company’s Health and Safety Policy, ensuring safe
working conditions and practices within the Warehouse;
• To be a key holder and open / lock up at appointed start and closing times as required;
• Keep warehouse in good order.
• Ensure stock is rotated
• Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
