Main Purpose of the Job (general tasks):
Daily running of the clerical operation in the facility.
Maintain customer service levels to a high standard in conjunction with the Lead Agent.
Support the Lead Agent in all areas of the business.
To ensure compliance with Regulatory Bodies e.g. HSE, CAA and HMRC/ Border force.
Responsibilities (detailed tasks):

Liaise with customers in a polite and efficient manner.
Create and update records of all consignments in the computer systems.
Interrogate the customer systems to obtain information concerning any consignment.
Maintain computer database
Separate and distribute cargo documents according to airline requirements.
Arrange transfer to coastwise traffic and confirm arrival at destination.
Liaise and interact with Transport division to ensure all airline customers trucking requirements are satisfied within agreed timeframes.
Serve Customers collecting cargo including taking payments of charges.
Conduct tracing activity and any other relevant action following short/over shipments of documents/cargo.
Operate telephone system in a polite and efficient manner.
Investigate and report on all queries from customers/Airlines/agents/HMC.
Liaise with warehouse staff and drivers as appropriate.
Update filing as necessary
Responsible for checking Dangerous Goods to IATA / AVI checks.
Have an understanding of the requirements of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for pharmaceutical and medicinal products and the rules and regulations that affect our business.
Be aware of the role of the Responsible Person (RP) within the designated site for the handling of pharmaceutical and medicinal products under GDP processes.
To undertake any other duties as required by management, commensurate with the grade of the post.
