Description of position
Nicolás y Valero is currently looking for people who are dynamic, to join our team for our North Acton warehouse.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Associate is responsible for all of the general warehouse maintenance including preparation and shipping of orders. He/She is also responsible for providing courteous service to clients who come to pick up their orders.
Responsibilities

Shipping and Receiving. Load and unload trucks/trailers. Put away stock and pick orders. Assist in all aspects of warehouse duties including labelling of product, picking and preparation order for deliveries following the scanning system, preparation of shipping documentation, inventory counts and general cleanup/maintenance.
Equipment. Safely operate manual lift equipment (hand truck). Notify management of any concerns or issues with equipment.
Knowledge and Learning. Maintain a thorough knowledge of current inventory, stock locations, and warehouse setup.
Safety. Unfailingly promote a clean, safe and positive work environment. Consistently uphold all company health and safety, security, and operational policies and procedures.
Communication.  Regularly communicate with Company leadership on best practices and procedures, customer concerns and new ideas. Be proactive when in doubt or if presented with a challenge or a problem. Speak up, ask for input, help, advice, and feedback from coworkers or Company leadership.

Skills and aptitudes

Fluency in Spanish is mandatory
Hand truck experience required.
Physically fit with the ability to consistently lift 40-plus pounds.
Excellent communicating skills
Good computer skills
A self-driven work ethic along with the ability to set and achieve goals without constant supervision.
Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Team player
