We are looking for someone who is passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic that can join our growing team in Hayes. Ideally you will be a reliable, trustworthy, hardworking person with excellent attention to detail. You will be working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and assisting as required in all warehouse duties. This is a permanent position. We operate on shift pattern.
Responsibilities:
 Complete any tasks allocated by Warehouse Supervisor
 Operating a Bailer (recycling paper and plastic)
 Ensure that the Warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times
 Preparing loose cover sofas, fixed sofas and beds, FP treatments
 Moving goods around in the warehouse if needed
 Final checks of prepared goods against Delivery notes (sign off in the absence of Warehouse supervisor
 Checking and inspecting goods received (including visual QC) – ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, colour
 Strongly adhere to company Health and Safety procedures
 Able to work effectively and reliably when unsupervised
 Able to use initiative to deal calmly with unexpected situations
 Support Warehouse supervisor to deliver targets set by the company
 Perform Warehouse duties such as manual lifting, packing, labelling operations and sorting
 Loading and unloading vehicle for deliveries scheduled
 Cover Supervisory tasks in Warehouse Supervisor absence
 Operating a forklift
 Delivering customers’ orders if and when required
Requirement
 Must be physically fit and strong to be able to carry/handle furniture
 Be willing to do flexible hours
Communicative English
 Can demonstrate multitasking capability from previous roles
 experience and full UK driving license in Cat B would be preferred (not essential)
