We are an IT company based in Perivale and have currently a vacancy in the Production Department.
The job aim is to produce and assemble products, fulfil customer orders and receive deliveries.
Duty and standards are measurable in terms of time, cost, quality or quantity.
Please note this list is not to be regarded as exclusive – a job holder may have ad hoc tasks.
Duties:
• Products Assembling
• Pack products
• Load courier Van/Take Post to depot/Post Office
• Perform quality control against assembled goods
• Maintain electronic systems relating to Warehouse/Production
• Perform stock checks as required
Standards: All products are assembled properly with the highest standard of quality.
• Goods In Process Responsibilities
• Book goods in Sage ERP System
• Unload and receive deliveries, checking for discrepancies or damaged goods
• Date mark received stock items
• Unpack and put received items in appropriate place within warehouse
• Contact supplier and arrange for replacement/return of incorrectly supplied/faulty/damaged goods reporting arrangements made to Procurement and Finance Teams where appropriate
• Pick, pack and check customer orders
• Print serial number lists for customer orders
• Print postage labels for customer orders
Standards: Ensure Goods in Process is adhered to as well as to ensure customer orders are fulfilled in timely and accurate manner.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; requesting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Standards: Stock and working environment comply with company’s rules and requirements
Person specification:
Qualifications/Education • High school education preferred
experience/Knowledge • 2 years’ manufacturing/assembly experience
Skills/Competencies
• Great attention to details
• Ability to work under pressure
• Competent PC user
Personal Attributes/Other
• Highly motivated
• Hardworking
• A person of high integrity
