Days and Hours: Week one, Friday and Saturday, week two, Tuesday and Wednesday, 10.00pm to 07.00am, plus one weekend day per month.
Alexander really enjoys high impact activities like climbing or dancing. He has Dravet syndrome which presents with multiple seizures and developmental delay causing difficulties with language and motor skills. Alexander also has autism and a button in place, mainly for his medication. Alexander requires regular morning and evening medicine and occasionally requires emergency medication to resolve his seizures.
Your role as waking night nanny, will be monitoring him throughout the night, for seizures and wakefulness. Alexander is awake A LOT so he will require gentle comforting to help him get back to sleep. During the weekend day shift you will take him out and about; he really loves and thrives from doing lots of different activities.
This job will suit someone who has worked within a small team set up and who is adaptable to working both nights and days.
