The Tate Modern's Restaurant on level 9 is currently recruiting for permanent Waiting Staff to join their busy team. This contract is offered on a minimum of 24 hours per week basis over a 5-day a week period. The successful candidate will be responsible for running and managing a section in the restaurant.

The main purpose of the role is to provide all guests with the highest possible level of service and care, to ensure knowledge of products and product presentation and to proactively identify guest needs or requirements.

The successful candidate will be confident, professional and have a welcoming personality. Some of the duties will include assisting the rest of the team and delivering great guest experience.

As the role involves contact with guests the successful candidate must have good command of English. Our Waiting Staff will also need to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, excellent attention to detail, high standards of personal presentation and possess excellent service standards.

The successful candidate will:
• Have previous experience working as waiting staff in a busy restaurant environment.
• Have proven ability to provide exceptional service.
• Have strong communication skills with the ability to effectively converse with a diverse client base.
• Be happy to work on their feet for up to 10 hours (with breaks)
• Be flexible and adaptable, and able to perform a large variety of tasks to a high standard while responding to changing business needs.
• Be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and some evenings.
