Peyton and Byrne is a modern British contract caterer headed up by Oliver Peyton, with restaurants and cafes located in some of London’s premier Galleries and attractions. Due to internal development we are now seeking an engaging and well presented F and B Assistant superstar to help contribute and deliver our culinary vision at our location in the amazing Royal Academy of Arts.
Main Responsibilities
•To be warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful to guests, clients and visitors at all times
•To bring a positive, hospitality mindset to work at all times and consistently put guests first
•To provide service of food and drinks with a smile, to greet the guest in a friendly manner, assist them with selection of food and drinks, assist with carrying and delivery of food and drinks wherever possible
•To consistently prepare, serve and present all drinks to the standards and dish specifications with excellence, and to help the rest of the team to do the same
•To clean and clear away all plates, cutlery, napkins etc. From tables with skill and style, engaging in a polite and friendly manner with guests while doing this
•To be a team player at all times and be prepared to be flexible in order to ensure that all operations are always as guest-focused, efficient and profitable as possible
•To ensure that the Peyton and Byrne Health and Safety Policy and Food Safety Management System are adhered to and look out for, report and take all actions to protect self, colleagues and guests
The Ideal Candidate
Working within a fast moving and high volume environment, the F and B Assistant must be a Peyton and Byrne ambassador that is able to meet and exceed guest’s needs and expectations quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining the highest quality of guest service, hospitality and engagement. They must have a passion and enthusiasm for the preparation and service of quality drinks and food the F and B Assistant must also be able to grow and maintain strong relationships within their team to ensure clear communication and a culture of helping one another is maintained.
