POLPO is seeking experienced STAFF AT ALL LEVELS to join our London restaurants. We are currently recruiting for:
• Waiters
• Bartenders
• Breakfast supervisor (coffee/barista experience necessary)
POLPO is a Venetian bàCaro - a humble restaurant serving simple but authentic food all freshly prepared on-site, paired with young Italian wines and classic Italian aperitivo cocktails within a modest, stripped-back setting.
We opened our first restaurant in September 2009 to immediate acclaim and we have since opened twelve restaurants across London, Brighton, Bristol and Exeter.
Our teams are well known for being friendly, enthusiastic and dynamic, and we pride ourselves on delivering a balance of knowledgeable service with warm personable hospitality. A keen passion for food and interest in developing within the hospitality industry is essential.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Skills - experience in a busy restaurant and excellent hospitality skills. You must enjoy looking after people!
• Teamwork - the ability and willingness to learn and to develop as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and a real hands-on approach
• Excellent command of English
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine is desirable
• Good references, plus valid passport and visa
