ECO is a restaurant in Clapham that serves creative, seasonally-led food in a relaxed and informal setting. We opened in 90s still going, and have steadily gained a reputation for serving some of the most exciting food and have become a beacon for good food in the area, and beyond.

We have a loyal band of regulars, strong recognition from our peers in the industry, and continue to receive praise from the press, critics, bloggers and social media alike.

We are looking for a passionate, talented and committed floor staff with a keen interest in food and drink to join our small team.

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious individual, someone who has been a waiter / waitress and is looking to take the next step and learn more of the elements that are required to run a restaurant behind the scenes. This is a multi-faceted role which will challenge the right candidate to use every skill in their possession. Eco is an independent restaurant where everyone works together in a tight knit team. You will work directly with the senior management; we will train you in how to manage your section with the aim of helping develop you to become a well skilled key staff member if you wish to grow within the industry. The role will also require a strong presence on the restaurant floor and the ability to manage a busy service.

This role involves variable shift patterns, so a degree of flexibility is required.

Job requirements
• 6 Months previous experience in similar restaurant environment.
• An interest in current food trends, seasonal ingredients, sustainability and low intervention wine is vital.

• Legally entitled to work in the UK
