Niche is an independent 40-cover restaurant serving British food with a modern twist right next to Sadler's Wells theatre in Angel, Islington. Our 'niche' is that everything on the menu is gluten-free!
We are looking for an experienced* waiter/waitress to work in our small but dedicated front of house team. Responsibility, teamwork and ability/willingness to take on all aspects of the day to day operations of the business is essential. Honesty, commitment and loyalty is expected and rewarded!
*PLEASE NOTE: By experienced we mean worked as a WAITER OR WAITRESS within a busy restaurant for at least 6 months in the UK!
Duties would include:
- Excellent customer service
- Liaising with customers via email and phone
- Key holding responsibilities including opening and closing
- Cashing up
- Maintaining high standards of service at all times
- Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained
The ideal applicant will have:
- experience in a busy restaurant environment.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- A positive 'can do' attitude and willingness to 'get the job done'
