The Trafalgar Dining Rooms is a destination of style and great taste in the pulsing heart of the city.  Our kitchen celebrates the finest, freshest, and where possible, local ingredients, with flavours that nod to the Mediterranean. The Rooftop is a space for sipping individually crafted cocktails and drinking in the inimitable city view while dining on the shared plates prepared by our chefs on the open grill.
We are currently looking for a charismatic and optimistic Waiter or Waitress with a passion for service and with previous experience in a high-end restaurant or bar. You will be able to engage with guests and ensure they have a wondrous time, and always look out for new ways of improving the service in our fantastic Food and Drink outlets.
Key Responsibilities
When working as a Waiter/Waitress you will be the person in charge for the guest journey during our guest’s time in our two Food and drink outlets. You will also;

Liaise with all team members and the kitchen to ensure swift and efficient food and drink service to the tables.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all menu items provided and identifying opportunities for up-selling and promoting when appropriate;
Ensure team members work together and communicate to provide a continuously high standard of service to our guests.
Report and follow up on any comments, VIP arrivals or guest queries as they occur.

Key Requirements

Previous experience in a dynamic, high end restaurant/ bar environment is essential.
Positive, pro-active individual who can understand and adapt to guests changing needs.
Passion for excellence
Ability to engage and connect with guests, with a creative, forward thinking approach.
Excellent command of spoken English
Immaculate Personal Presentation
Professional, warm and courteous team player.
