Waiting Staff - Urban Retreat at Harrods
To ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant by delivering excellent customer services at all time at a very busy and fast-paced restaurant.
Main Duties and Responsibilities :
To make sure that you are customer oriented at all times
Ensure that all pre-opening work is carried out and that all areas are clean and ready for service
Ensure that all seating areas are correctly set-up and that they are clean
Serving customers both courteously and efficiently in all areas
Ensure all equipment is used as instructed and that wastage is kept to a minimum
Handling cash, credit card transactions with extreme care and attention
Reporting any Health and Safety hazards to the Supervisor / Manager
Attend staff meetings as required
Assist with food service and drinks service as required
Clear tables as required
To acknowledge any guest complaints and report these immediately to the Supervisor / Manager
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential :
At least 2 years experience working in a busy, fast-paced restaurant
Positive with a can do attitude
Excellent communication skills and good standard of spoken and written English
Demonstrable passion for hospitality and a flair for customer service
Ability to work well within a team.
