We are looking for either 1 full time person or two part time people to work with our team at Bombetta London.
We are open from 6am till late Mon - Fri and 9am till late at the weekend. Our team members are jack of all trades and we try to have fun, delivering a great product and all mucking in. Work hard play hard and have fun with the customers, whilst delivering exceptional service, is what its all about.
Italian language is useful but not essential.

Bombetta London opened in Wanstead on 10th August 2021. It serves delicious morsels of bombette - an authentic Pugliese street food that’s new to the UK. It has received great acclaim from various news papers, bloggers and local papers with articles about it ranging from The Evening Standard, Time Out and GQ Magazine. It continues to be successful and the owners are looking for new ways to build the brand including markets and events.
Bombetta London’s team of local Co-owners include Ben and Jo Milne (owners of The Chefs Deli), who source artisan food from the Mediterranean and supply to a collection high-end restaurants in London and around the UK.
To add to the restaurant’s sizzling charcoal grill and rustic Italian dining experience, there will also be a working meat and cheese deli next door, run by The Chefs Deli team. Tender legs of cured ham and wagon wheels of cave-aged Parmesan will be hung, stacked and sliced front of house for sale on weekends and used in the restaurant’s seasonal, Italian sharing menu. The Chefs Deli sell wholsale to the likes of Soho House Group, Gordon Ramsey Holdings, Polpo, Ottoleghi, Tom’s Kitchen to name a few. The stunning ingredients from The Chefs Deli flow into the restaurant next door and are available to retail customers on a Saturday.

A bit more about bombette:
- Bombette (plural) are unique to Puglia and are enjoyed there today, grilled on skewers over coals
- Historically the land in Puglia was devoted to olive groves and room to grow trees for firewood was scarce. As fuel was precious, poor Pugliese farm workers would head to the local butcher and feast on bombette (made from little scraps of meat) from his communal oven or grill
- Their small size meant they cooked quicker, using less fuel whilst their high fat content offered a good source of energy for the farm workers
- The combinations of meat and filling used to make a bundle of bombetta (singular) are endless but pork stuffed with herbs, fresh cheese and wrapped in cured ham is a classic
- As a style of street food, bombette are supported by the Slow Food movement, which tries to protect and preserve traditional and regional types of food, whilst celebrating their history and provenance

Bombetta London is owned by a collective of local friends who work in food, media and business. On trips together to Puglia they enjoyed eating bombette fresh from the local butcher and were inspired to open Bombetta London.
Ben Milne and Joanna Anastasiou-Milne, Co-owners – run The Chefs Deli, carefully sourcing specialty, artisan products from the heart of the Mediterranean for the London restaurant scene and beyond. Suzannah Butcher, Co-owner – is also a freelance Food Stylist, Food Writer and has a weekly recipe column in The Daily Mail. Until recently she was Cookery Editor at Good Housekeeping magazine UK. She trained at Leiths School of Food and Wine before previously working in TV and Advertising. @SuzAndFood
James Longman, Co-owner – is the Producer of James Corden’s The Late Late Show and previously Head of Programs at Talkback which creates many popular, TV comedy-entertainment shows. @Longers1
