The Ebury Restaurant and Wine Bar is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced waiter/bartender to join our team - looking to hire immediately.
You should have 2 years’ experience in a similar position and in a similar quality environment in London. Outstanding front of house abilities, excellent communication skills, hard work and commitment are key; as well as a positive, friendly personality and an interest in food and wine.
Bar duties - you will be responsible for the wine bar area service and dispense to the restaurant, accepting deliveries, the daily prep and breakdown of the bar area, and cleaning and maintaining of a busy and organised bar to standard and of course looking after customer’s with table service.
As a waiter you will work as part of a small team responsible for your section of up to 7 tables/20 covers during either a lunch or evening service and for daily setups, break downs and close downs of the restaurant.
In both areas you will be required to provide an impeccable standard of service to all customers with an eye for detail in a friendly and unpretentious working environment.
As we are a small team, finding the right person with the skills and attitude that suits our business is key.
The ideal candidate will be well presented, hardworking and enthusiastic. We are looking for people who truly enjoy looking after other people and who have experience in the service industry.
You will work 7 shifts per week with 2 days off. Wages are in the order of £21-23k per annum. Reasonable starting and finishing times mean you miss the worst of the travel issues that plague hospitality.
Proof of eligibility to live and work in the UK, current UK bank account and National Insurance number are required.
