The Abbeville Pub, a busy gastro pub off Clapham Common, is looking for responsible and reliable members of waiting staff
We have both a part time role (20-25 hours per week) that could progress to a full time role if desired and a full time role (35-45 hours per week)
The successful candidate will live locally, pride themselves on excellent customer service, speak English fluently, have a positive attitude and be able to work independently. experience serving tables / tending bar is desirable and some barista knowledge would be a definite asset, however training can be provided.
Candidates will have a very relaxed, cheerful manner with customers, but understand the importance of being fast and focused, and of communicating well with colleagues.
Weekday shifts require full-time staff to work independently and they must therefore learn strong serving skills, basic bar tending skills as well as excellent initiative finding tasks to perform during quieter periods.
