Volunteers wanted for new start-up Uniformed Youth Organisation
We are a start-up uniformed youth organisation that was set up on Sunday 12th November 2022, after taking part in Remembrance Day events and hearing the common worries and concerns of both young people and the older generation regarding the future of young people, including lack of British values, positive role models, life skills and a lack or sense of responsibility and community spirit amongst young citizens in London today.
We want to pilot a uniformed youth organisation that is all about British values, community spirit and togetherness regardless of race, culture, religion, gender, sexuality and so forth in which young people will wear a uniform to give them a sense of pride, belonging and help give them respect within the community, helping to break the negative stereotypes often placed upon young people.
This will also give them an opportunity to take part in activities and programs where they will be able to earn badges and awards for their uniform and their future careers, as well as giving them the skills they need for their future adult lives.
As a start-up charitable organisation, we need VOLUNTEERS who can help and support us in our efforts to create a uniformed youth organisation that we will pilot and then expand across London, including in schools and community centres.
