Peabody has an exciting opportunity for aVolunteer Services Manager to join our team in London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time permanent basis and will receive a salary of £40,000-£44,000 per annum.
Peabody and Family Mosaic have merged, creating a new housing association providing 55,000 homes to 111,000 people across London and the South East. The Volunteer Services Manager will be a member of the Community Foundation senior management team and will work across the Peabody Group and with key stakeholders and partners to ensure that the aims and objectives of the Foundation’s strategy are delivered and that services are aligned with corporate objectives. These services will also need to adapt to the changing external environment. The Foundation should be recognised as a leading provider and delivery partner in London.
Knowledge, experience and skills required by the ideal Volunteer Services Manager:
- experience of leading and managing a team, with excellent communication skills, that generates confidence and respect with a wide variety of audiences.
- Excellent communication skills; proven record of preparing and delivering persuasive, high quality, written and verbal reports and presentations within the organisation up to Executive and committee level and externally.
- Proven track record of building and managing effective relationships with Leaders, peers, colleagues, partners and stakeholders.
- Proven experience of successfully, managing and coaching employees and supporting them through times of change.
- Proven ability to collaborate with others, work cross-functionally with diverse groups.
- A commitment to continuing professional development.
- Effective, networking, negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications required by the ideal Volunteer Services Manager:
- Degree level education is desirable.
