VOLUNTEER POSITION – FAIR ASSISTANT
Peckham International Art Fair (PIAF), is a not for profit platform for contemporary art galleries, collectives and initiatives held during London’s busiest art week of the year. PIAF will host more than 15 international galleries and projects at Copeland Park, an industrial unit in the creative quarter of Peckham in South London.
PIAF's volunteer programme offers students, recent graduates, artists and researchers within the field of the visual arts an exciting opportunity to become involved with the events and exhibition programme of the fair. 
Applicants should be creative, enthusiastic and have some experience in this or other complementary sectors. We look for people that see their future in the arts and museum world and want to gain valuable practical experience. 
Location: Copeland Park and Bussey Building, 133 Copeland Road, London SE15 3SN 
Hours: Flexible morning and afternoon shifts
Duration: From the 28th of September to 6th of October 2022
Job Outline
• The main purpose of this position is to support the host team of the fair.
• Welcome visitors to the venue and provide useful information to them.
• Attending the reception desk and managing the RSVP List for the opening event
• Assist participating galleries with set up, wrapping, de install, etc.
• Help keeping the venue clean and tidy.
• Serve drinks during the opening event.
