Are you passionate about helping end global poverty and suffering? Do you have a few hours to spare each week? Come and join our volunteer team! We need enthusiastic, fun, reliable and dedicated volunteers to join our friendly and diverse team in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
We ask that volunteers commit to at least 4 hours per week (though you may volunteer more if you wish). Our shift times are:
Monday-Saturday 10:00-14:30, 14:00-18:00, or all day
Sunday 11:00-15:00, 12:00-16:00, or all day
What the role will involve:
-Sorting and pricing donated stock for sale
-Display and visual merchandising of the shop floor, including window dressing
-Identification of valuable and designer items of clothing
-Offering fantastic and friendly customer service to shoppers
-Till Operation and Point of Sale Work (optional)
-Work as part of a diverse and friendly team.
Skills and experience Required:
-Reliable and punctual
-Enthusiastic, positive and friendly demeanour
-Willingness to work as part of a team
-Willingness to learn new things and share existing talents
-Full training will be provided, and additional roles exist for specializing in our homewares department and our online / e-commerce sales department.
