Volunteer Brokerage Coordinator
Location: Waterloo Office, with project delivery across the London Borough of Hounslow.

Contract: Fixed Term until March 31st 2022
Hours: 37.5 hours
Salary: Circa £23,000
They employ Volunteer Brokerage Coordinators in the essential role that develops, delivers and supports the service by recruiting volunteers, signing up organisations, managing customer facing communication, and handling the administration and organisational activities related to placing volunteers with volunteer-involving organisations.
You will be working as part of a London wide team of nine people who deliver Volunteer Services across the London Boroughs of Barnet, Brent, Hounslow and the City of Westminster. This post will see you coordinate, deliver, and promote our client's service predominately in the London Borough of Hounslow.
It is a broad role that will complement your strong commitment to volunteering and understanding of what Volunteering Services do. A self-starter and excellent team player, you will have experience in the delivery of community and volunteering projects or services, and be able to advise volunteers and volunteer-involving organisations about volunteering opportunities and roles. You will also be enthusiastic about developing partnerships with voluntary, public and private sector organisations, and in harnessing Facebook and Twitter to market opportunities and information about volunteering.
You will work with team members to deliver training workshops and coordinate small to medium sized events to celebrate Volunteers Week and volunteer contribution to the community and voluntary sector.
Excellent planning, organisation and prioritising skills are essential, alongside good MS Office knowledge and user skills. experience in the use of CRM databases such as Volunteer Connect or Do-It will be advantageous.
