As a Company Secretary, your role will involve, but will not be limited to, being responsible for the efficient administration of Global Life Changers, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, filing accounts, maintaining registers, updating Companies House and/or the Charity Commission, organising board meetings, giving advice on governance, compiling reports, ensuring the company and its directors operate within the law and filing relevant Board meeting resolutions. This role is home-based and the hours are flexible to work around you and your commitments. Access to the internet is essential. This role is voluntary, not paid for.
Person Specification
You will be self-motivated and passionate about the organisation and the work we do. You will be organised and professional with strong administrative skills. You will ideally be aware of legislation affecting charitable organisations, or at least will be willing to learn these. Secretarial experience is beneficial but not essential. We welcome applications from applicants with or without professional experience within this area.
