Visitor Engagement Warden Vacancy

22.5 Hours per week - 3 days from 7 including weekends and bank holidays.
This post is initially offered as a fixed-term contract ending 31st May 2022
Passionate about conservation and visitor engagement you will help to deliver a variety of tours, talks and visitor activities. You will also assist with site presentation, supporting the work of our aviculture, horticulture and reserve management teams, gaining hands-on knowledge of our conservation work which you can communicate to our visitors via your core role. experience of working within a busy visitor attraction would be an advantage, as would a proven track record of assisting to develop new visitor experiences and knowledge of working with volunteers.
The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) is a conservation charity that protects wetlands for wildlife and people. For 70 years we have been pioneers in saving threatened wetland wildlife across the globe and are experts in wetland management and creation. We work with communities living among some of the most vulnerable wetlands in the world, providing leadership and influence to create a sustainable future for our wetlands, their wildlife and the people who depend upon them.
