A friendly elderly lady with some short term memory loss who lives in Chelsea near the river is looking for a live-out Visitor to visit her one day each week for 6 hours a visit, ideally from 11am-5pm, to give the lady’s live-in Carer some time off.
As her Visitor you would give the lady lunch, and then perhaps go out for a walk, accompany her to a gallery or on an outing, and to give company.
She would like to have someone who is a good listener, interesting, kind and ideally with an interest in art, which is one of her interests, and who can be clean and practical in the house and able to cook and clear up simple meals.
The property is situated approximately. 15 Mins walk from Imperial Wharf Station, and 5 Mins walk from the King’s Road.
Applicants must be non-smoking. No personal care is required nor permitted. There can be a little flexibility on these timings for the right person.
Pay will be £12.00 gross per hour for the first four hours, and £11.00 gross per hour for the extra two hours (ie £70.00 per visit). Applicants should already be self-employed and will be responsible for calculating and paying their own tax and NI. We will interview matching applicants and apply for a DBS check on the successful candidate.
