Where will I be working?

What hours will I do?
40 hours per week
Including alternate Saturdays with a day off in the week given for working a Saturday.
How much will I be paid?
Dependent on experience ranging from £15,600 - £21,250
Job summary:
The aim of the Customer Care Adviser is to ensure that our clients receive excellent customer service, advice and care for their pets across all 3 branches.
You will be a vital part of the customer care team as you will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers.
The role will require flexibility as you will be covering holidays, staff sickness and providing additional support on busier days to each clinic.
Essential Skills and experience:
Friendly and personable
Previous Customer facing experience
Driving Licence
Key Skills/Characteristics:
Good communication skills
Commitment to delivering outstanding customer care
Strong administration and organisation skills
Polite and courteous
Enthusiastic about animal care and pets of all shapes and sizes!
Patient and diplomatic
Team player
Computer literacy (very important)
GCSE Math C grade or above (or equivalent)
Key responsibilities:
Promote the image of the veterinary practice as a professional organisation at all times.
Offer a pro-active service to clients with accurate, helpful knowledge relating to practice policies
Deal with all administrative aspects of the practice including insurance claims, debt management, client reminders and filing.
Carry out reasonable requests as required by the customer care manager, head nurse and veterinary surgeons.
Have a friendly, caring and professional telephone manner. To deal with appointments, booking surgeries, organising referrals and liaising with the laboratories and suppliers.
Give full co-operation to any colleagues requiring assistance in a prompt and helpful manner and be flexible in assisting around the practice in response to the business needs.
Ensure maximum client satisfaction by responding to and anticipating clients requirements in a friendly and efficient manner so providing a consistently high level of service.
Maintaining a clean and presentable Reception at all times.
Monitoring and controlling stock levels for food and all counter sales.
No previous experience in a veterinary environment is necessary, although it would be beneficial.
