Recently refurbished and shortlisted for the best designed London restaurant and bar, the 75 cover public restaurant serves a modern British/European menu, supported by the owners farm. Headchef is David Jones, previously at J Sheekey.
On the upper floors is the members' clubroom(foreign correspondents, writers, photographers etc.) and events room for journalism events and private functions.
We are looking for an experienced waiter/waitress who will be joining a friendly small team.
A positive and a can do attitude is a must.
We have a polite and lovely clientele, and gets busy only 2-3 hours per lunch/evening shift. Last orders are at 10.30pm, and we finish the shift 11.30pm, latest at midnight.
The restaurant team has 4-6 members on the floor/ for a shift. Everybody works together, helps each other and are very friendly and professional people. The owners are wonderful people, who show respect to everybody. And, the staff members, who work hard/ have experience and are willing to learn or help, are rewarded with a generous salary.(Depending on the level of professionalism and effort new staff members get paid £8.50 to £14 an hour plus tips).
