AOG Couriers are recruiting for a Courier Van Drivers. (Must live within the London Heathrow Area).
Drivers are required for Monday – Friday
Weekends and Evening Drivers also wanted.
Main duties will include collection of single or multiple parcels or boxes and deliver mainly into Airline Cargo sheds or to various locations.
Mandatory requirements:
• Must be over 25 years [For Insurance Purposes]
• Have a 5 year checkable history
• Full UK driving license [with less than 6 points]
• UK/EU Passport
• Driver MUST live not more than 5 Miles from HEATHROW Airport as role is based from home and response time has to be under 30 Mins.
Desirable qualities:
• Attention to detail when collecting or delivering and filling in paperwork
• Ability to work under pressure
• Flexibility
• Knowledge of local and national area
• experience in Airfreight collections and delivery
Successful candidates will have to complete a CRB check prior to start of employment and undergo Aviation Security Training.
This Role is a Full Time / Paye and a fully expensed vehicle will be provided.
Probation period will be 3 months
Availability required between 08:00am - 20:00
Night work may be required
Weekend work will be required (1 weekend a month)
WEEKEND AND EVENING DRIVERS:
Duties as above.
Pay rate - £8:00 - £10:00 per hour plus £15:00 per day weekend call out.
