We are urgently seeking a DBS checked tutor who is available to start a sewing club with a small group of children at a Wandsworth primary school today from 3pm - 4pm
The club will consist of around 10 children between ages 6 - 10 years. You would be working on small and fairly simple, but interesting hand-sewn projects with the children. This is ideal for someone wanting to share their creative skills, get experience in teaching or within a school setting, or gain experience working with children. We are looking for someone who start immediately and who might be interested in running more sessions going forward, depending on how today goes
You should have good hand stitching skills and be able to think outside of the box. You should ideally have previous experience working with children in some capacity
You should be reliable, punctual and enthusiastic. The aim of the club is to bring out the creative confidence of each child through a structured but enjoyable after school club
You should be willing and able to provide references and information about yourself for our recruitment vetting process. You should also be enhanced DBS checked
Materials will be provided by us or we can provide expenses for you to purchase these
