The Underwriting Analyst (UWA) Team at Funding Circle ensure all documents are processed and prepared for our Underwriters to make their decision on a loan to help small businesses get the finance they need to thrive. The UWA’s essentially are document gurus.

Entry requirements:
Minimum grade C-A* in five GCSE, including Maths and English (or Functional Skills level 2 in both). You will also have good knowledge of IT including all Microsoft packages.
Ideally, we are looking for recent school leavers and non-graduates for the role.
Outline:
Business Administrator advanced level apprenticeship and training, this will be delivered by White Hat.
Location: (nearest stations) Mansion House and Cannon Street, LondonAs an Underwriting Analyst you will:
Be the go-to person for preparing all applications for our incredibly efficient Underwriting team to review. If you’re the type of person who loves data and financial documents, then you’re in luck!
You’ll have to ensure all documents from Borrowers are accurate and aligned to what we want in order for Underwriters to review. This role will give you the fantastic opportunity to gain knowledge of the Fintech world (a pretty great world if you ask us) whilst being able to review eligibility of applications.
You will be regularly approached by our Sales and Underwriting teams to discuss applications, as well as asking if you want a game of Ping pong (yes, we have Ping pong tables).This is a great opportunity to have a lasting impact on small business owners and thereby help Funding Circle achieve our mission of Building a Better Financial World.
You’ll also have the exciting responsibility of emailing our Borrowers their successful loan offer and then list them on our platform to be funded.
40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
We are looking for:
1. Amazing admin skills and a great attention to detail
2. Somebody that can explain processes to Stakeholders across the business
3. The ability to prioritise your time and able to get things done as and when they come through
