Barber and Parlour The beauty and grooming spaces at The Ned bring together a range of men’s and women’s services in a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere.A one-stop shop for head-to-toe maintenance, from Cowshed manicures and pedicures to facials, Parlour 1 is the ideal spot for pre-party preparations or a full-on makeover. There’s also a skin rejuvenation bar, offering anti-ageing and skin-correcting express LED light facials along with relaxing treatment rooms, the perfect place to unwind with a Moody Massage.The RoleAs an Ambassador of treatment standards, the Treatment Manager is responsible for making sure all guests receive a brilliant service. Provides support to the Spa General Manager in the smooth running of the treatment department, maintaining a high standard of treatments, cleanliness and motivation within the team. Carries out inductions for new therapists and conducts regular training of Spa and Hotel brand standards. Responsible for driving treatment revenue and retail sales through motivating all therapists to achieve sales targets. Main responsibilities:• Maximize revenue by driving the therapist team to up sell treatments and retail. • Monitor therapist retail targets, providing motivation and training to ensure personal and team targets are met.• Maintain a sound knowledge of all treatments, packages and any promotions.• Responsible for maintaining standards of cleanliness, hygiene and professional presentation of the treatment rooms and therapist preparation areas through daily spot checks and walk rounds.• Will be required to carry out Duty Manager shift for the spa. • Protect confidentiality at all times including personal data, medical details and any information provided in confidence by the client.• Stock management, ensuring stock usage is monitored and carry out monthly stock takes.• Enter working hours into the payroll system, ensuring hours are accurately monitored. • Carry out treatments one day a week and me able to step into treatments when required. • Handle customer feedback / complaints and provide follow up training where required. Essential Skills / experience:• Beauty Therapy experience for at least 5 years• Proven track record in therapy training • 2 years’ experiences at supervisory level • NVQ 1,2 3 Beauty / CIBTACDesirable Skills:• CIDESCO• Trained in Cowshed, Cheeky or Neville’s Brands• Electrical Therapy experience• Opening experience • Hotel Spa experience• Supervising a team of 10 or more We Offer:• One of the most competitive salaries in the industry.• 28 paid holidays per annum inclusive of bank holidays• Complimentary meals on duty• Annual staff events• Discounted rates at The Ned for accommodation, food, drink, spa and products • Fantastic career growth opportunities.
